If those portions were to be replaced to their original version I could probably rate this a 6/10...but for real this Steam version is a 1/10, it really is one of the worst games I've ever played.. The game is beautiful despite an old gameplay that can result a little difficult at the beginning. Fantastic to play with the help of a Steam Controller, definitely easier than with mouse and keyboard. However a very negative point: a lot of clues and riddles present in the original game have been removed or are automatocally solved in this version! It's such a pity!. If you bought the combo pack like I did, well you have to play it right?Well for me this version was even more glitchy, the graphics would stop while the voice parts would continue. I had issues solving thee puzzles, the prison, wall of skulls, and the tile puzzle. It's not really wrorth playing, it's so chopped up and the continious restarting is a pain. I bouth parts 4 and 5. I guess I shall continue on.. DON'T BUY IT! it's just a cut,watered down, ipad / android port. It is not the original PC release. It lacks some animations and sound effects,and the puzzles are simplified or even cut. JUST DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THIS CRAPPY PORT.. This game is a joke, and a bad one for that matter.First of all, it is not the full version -- parts of the story as well as the character animations are missing. What was Valve thinking adopting this version of the title for Steam? *facepalm*I played the prequels on PlayStation 1 and couldn't wait to finally play part 3 on PC, but this? Nope, don't buy it, you'll only regret it.. Not much to say other than this is an offensively terrible port of a good game. I only needed to play for a minute to reach this conclusion. They somehow managed to make every single aspect of this game infinitely worse. Baffling.Just buy the GOG version instead. It's an utter pain to get running but that's an infinitely better way to play than this mess. The fact that this was released at all is SHAMEFUL.. Totally pointless game, pointless characters, pointless story and pointless puzzles. Improved graphics to the previous 2 games in the series but after almost 5 hours, playing the game by referring to a walkthrough every 2 seconds that makes no sense because this version is watered down, I have no idea what this was about other than Vampires.
